The "Innovative Resistance" mural was partly hidden behind a chain link fence. It featured the 14 Mission Street bus winding its way along Mission Street in the Mission District of San Francisco.

The top half of the "Innovative Resistance" mural, by Precita Eyes Muralists, showed scenes from the Mission District. An x-ray view of the 14 Mission bus revealed folks riding inside the bus. To the right of the bus were ghosts. To the left of the bus an unhoused family huddled inside a tent. At the top of the mural a weak sun peeked under San Francisco fog.

A protest was composed of pink people marching. They carried signs that read, "Save Our Homes SF, human Rights." To the left, branches of a tree grew out though the windows of a Victorian home.

The sign was painted near the bottom of the mural. It read, in part:

A picnic table sat on fake grass in front of the "Innovative Resistance" mural. The mural itself illustrated two signs. The first read, "Black Lives Matter." The second read, "Power To The People." In the bottom right corner was a California poppy.

A ghostlike woman danced by floating over a freeway offramp. A DJ spun records to create the music to which the woman danced.

A cheetah was chained to the roof of the 14 Mission bus. Either the top of the bus was painted with flames, or the cheetah rested among real fire.

A woman leaned over a loom and wove words into a thick fabric. Partly hidden was the word,"Resist." The graffiti word, "Dash," was painted on a support for the freeway.
