A long branch with leaves, blocks and books, extended along a light blue background and behind a window. At the end of the branch was a red heart near a five-pointed orange star. The words on the mural read: "It starts with your heart and radiates out."

The middle of the three murals featured stars against a yellow circle, and other stars against a dark blue background. A quotation was printed on the light blue background. It read: "You cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore. We have seen the future, and the future is ours. -Caesar E. Chavez 1927-1993."

The leftmost of the three murals featured a giant sun with the smaller earth in front of it. Along the surface of the earth four people held hands between "Marshall" and "Elementary." At the other end of this mural were the words: "Once social change begins, it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride."
