The Sign Explained
A sign at one end of the exhibit explained the meaning of the exhibit. It also told how the exhibit had been presented in Lisbon, Madrid, Brussels, Potsdam, Rome, London, Rotterdam, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Mexico City, San Diego, and San Francisco.

Humans For Scale
Two people walked through the exhibit, providing a sense of its scale. The silent men were tall and heavy (made of bronze).

Wide And Well Spaced
The individual silent men were wide. Many had detailing on their front and back. And they were spaced well apart from each other.
