Walk-through House Of Mirrors
Olafur Eliasson built and installed five large stainless steel balls and placed them at the intersection of 16th Street and Terry A. Francois Boulevard on a street level plaza of the Chase Center. Each ball had a mirrored face with all the mirrors facing inward, thus creating a walk-through house of mirrors.

Burnished Stainless Steel
The balls were made of burnished stainless steel. That surface also created reflections, but those reflections were like looking at the world through fog.

Infinite Mirrors
When viewed from the correct angle, and infinite tunnel of reflected mirrors became possible. The trick was to take this picture without reflecting the camera.
