Atop W Hotel
The statue was atop the W Hotel on Third Street across from Yerba Buena Gardens and just past the SF Museum Of Modern Art. It lay on top of the building so was best viewed from across the street.

Closeup Of Face
The face was just detailed enough to be seen as a face from a distance, but not detailed enough to be recognized as a particular face up close.

From The Front
according to the artist's website: "Pneumatic Dreamer" is a natural response to the neo-classical design of the W Hotel building and it's placement within the MOMA area of San Francisco.

The Best View
The best view of the figure was from across the street and slightly down Howard street. Although distant, from that position the figure was not blocked by trolley-bus wires.

Face With Arm
A close up shot of the face and arm. According to the artist's website: The open, latticed quality of the construction allows sun light to sparkle and dance through the sculpture space, shifting constantly between the internal and external realms, and emphasizing the airy, "pneumatic," quality of the figure.

Just Finger Tips
When viewed from directly below and looking straight up from the sidewalk in front of the W Hotel, just the finger tips were visible, barely peeking over the building's edge.
