Old Fashioned Hand-truck
Just outside the waiting area for the southbound trains, a sculpture of an old fashioned luggage cart was on permanent display. Notice the design of the cart with its triangular-braced wooden cross pieces.

Realistic Detail
The sculpture was a marvelous work of superb detail, right down to the bolt heads holding the cross pieces together, and a "steel" strap down its center to support the luggage.

Baggage Handler?
Was the boy the baggage handler or was he a passenger sat atop the luggage to await the return of his parents?

Bucket Of Fruit
A bucket of what might be apples or pears sat on the front of the cart. The MV on its front stood for Mountain View.
