Cut Stone
The sculpture was cut from Basalt stone and mounted on a concrete base. It resembled a human spine, hence part of the name, "Vertebra."

A close shot of the top of the sculpture. The cuts were offset from each other on either side, perhaps suggesting the "Time Wave Zero" part of the name.
