Turtle Lived In A Drainage Ditch
The grass in the center of the hotel was bordered by a shallow drainage ditch. These turtles rested in that ditch at night, and only emerged the next morning. They were large, roughly 25 centimeters from the tip of their noses to end of their tails.

Close Up Shot Of Dead Turtle Carapace
A wide spot in the trail had benches, shade trees and a view of the lake. A low concrete ledge bordered the area. Just the other side of the concrete ledge we found this carapace of a dead turtle resting among grass and broken branches.
