Tiger Made By Dentzel
This was one of the creatures used for rides on the Carousel at the San Francisco Zoo . The carousel was a Dentzel design, and one of the last machines constructed by William H. Dentzel. Made in Philadelphia in 1921 it was moved into the San Francisco zoo in 1925.

Tiger On The Sidewalk
A tacky tiger stood as a frozen threat to pedestrians on the sidewalk in the Perl Street Mall in Boulder Colorado. It was a metal sculpture for sale just outside an art store.

Painted Tiger
Nothing so fierce as a painted tiger on the side of a building on Folsom Street in San Francisco. This tiger was painted on the side of a small corner store at the foot of Bernal Heights.

Tiger Under Tree
A fake tiger loitered on the grass just outside the San Diego Zoo. From the entrance of the Zoo, a short walk took one to the train ride and carousel. This tiger was seen while along that walk.
