A majority of pieces of the mural were drawn on the 17th Street side of Harrington Galleries. Traffic on 17th Street, and parked cars, blocked the view of this art.

In keeping with the theme of the mural, "Wacky Races," pedestrians walked past, and bicycles were ridden past the front of Harrington Galleries, thereby blocking a view of the murals.

The name, "San Francisco," was drawn under the front window of Harrington Galleries.

The number, "415" (the traditional area code for San Francisco) was written in the "O" of the name,"San Francisco." To the right of that number was the word, "Wacky" as the first part of the phrase, "Wacky Races."

The word, "Races," followed the word, "Wacky." The word, "Races," was then followed by an explanation mark (!) with the dot replaced with an x. Further to the right was a checkered flag that marked the end of the race.

The artist's signature was spray painted below the checkered flag. It read, "@TigerBuder," with an oval above, and with two lines and a dot below.

The first of the cars, painted on the 17th Street side of Harrington Galleries, was a pink car with the letter W on the door, and with the number 5 on the rear bumper. The car itself had lips at its front and eyelashes on the headlights. A pink parasol protected the driver from excess sunlight.

A sleepy moon was painted high on the wall over the pink car. The moon either wore both a crown and a dunce cap, or else the moon wore a combined crown and nightcap. The moon appeared asleep.

Two motor scooters followed the pink car. Ahead was a scooter driven by an unhappy looking gorilla. Behind the gorilla was a second scooter, this one driven by a jovial alligator.

Two stars, one blue and one purple, hovered over the two motor scooters. The letters "TMF" decorated the inside of the blue star.

A tiger stood with his back to the letters, "ICP CMA." The tiger was dressed in a stylish red suit and a matching hat with a purple feather in it. The tiger gave the passer-by a thumbs up.

Next in the "Wacky" race came a bat car. It was was driven by two vampires. A Batman logo was drawn on the door of the car. The headlights were open flames.

The roof of the bat car resembled the roof of a Victorian house. That roof was followed by two bats.

A flying banana also followed the Bat Car. The banana had bat-style wings which suggested it might be a vampire banana.

One of the bats, following the Bat Car, was spray painted on a glass brick window.

The "Wacky" race as it looked motoring along and into the distance, on the side of Harrington Galleries seen looking down 17th Street toward Valencia Street. Graffiti defaced part of the mural. Plywood covered part of the mural.
