The mural was located behind a lightrail stop, and next to a closed Koja Kitchen on K Street near 8th Street in downtown Sacramento, California.

The identifying sign was located in the lower right corner of the mural. It read:

The mural covered a wall about ten feet (three meters) tall and twenty feet (seven meters) wide. It featured a large heron, wings spread, over a harvester harvesting rice.

The harvester, on a sunny day, harvesting rice from a stylized field.

The head of a large heron peered past plants with the rising sun behind. The plant represented abundance.

The heron's wing was spread over geometric and organic shapes. The blue feathers contrasted with the red and orange details below it.
