The mural was painted on the side of the Windsor Hotel on Eddy Street in San Francisco. The mural overlooked Broderick Park. The Windsor Hotel was converted to house the homeless of San Francisco.

The "Windsor Hotel" mural displayed a huge tree filled with full sized houses. The base of the tree had a door. Stairs carved into the tree's trunk allowed the nimble to walk up them to the houses.

Actual windows in the side of the Windsor Hotel were incorporated into the mural. One window was on the side of a garage with a car parked there. Another window was incorporated into a castle-like building.

The actual windows of the Windsor Hotel appeared in gray and bland tones. The fake windows painted into the mural, on the other hand, were lit with delightful colors.

A blue house rested on one of the lower branches. It had an arm that extended out onto the air and was used to suspend a tire. The tire formed a swing upon which a child could play.

A sign hung off the trunk of the tree next to the door that read, "Everyone Deserves A Home." The door was ajar, and inside was probably an elevator up to the tree houses.

Purple trees formed a background for the purple house with bright yellow windows.

Another area of the mural showed autumn leaves falling. Beyond the leaves the branch was cut into logs and displayed among the letters and toys of children.

A crescent moon and night clouds formed a background for the tire. Fireflies glowed green in contrast to the stars that glowed white.
