Leafy Seadragon
|
Evening Light
The name "Leafy" comes from the profusion of leaf-like appendages used for camouflage not for propulsion. The Leafy Seadragon, here under evening light, is meant to resemble floating seaweed.

Invisible Fins
The Leafy Seadragon is propelled by transparent fins on its dorsal and ventral sides. Even up close they are impossible to see.

Three Seadragons Swimming Together
Here was a group of three Seadragons swimming alongside each other. This made it hard to tell were one began and the other ended.
